Our Mission

The mission of the South Sound Story Guild is to foster an appreciation for the art and tradition of storytelling in our community.

Some of us are just starting out on the path of storytelling, while others have been telling for many years. Some members are folklore enthusiasts; others just love to listen to a well-spun tale. What unites us is a passion for the oral tradition of storytelling.

Joining the South Sound Story Guild

Membership in the South Sound Story Guild is open to anyone interested in the art of storytelling.

Member benefits include:

receiving regular e-mails about storytelling opportunities;
gaining a voice in Guild decisions and direction; and
being found on our yearly resource list of tellers.

Annual dues are $10 for individuals, $15 for families and are due each Fall.

Dues can be turned in at any meeting or sent by mail. To send by mail, print a copy of our flyer (PDF file attached at bottom of page). Fill out the membership portion and send it along with a check for your dues to this address:
