Our Mission

The mission of the South Sound Story Guild is to foster an appreciation for the art and tradition of storytelling in our community.

 

Some of us are just starting out on the path of storytelling, while others have been telling for many years. Some members are folklore enthusiasts; others just love to listen to a well-spun tale. What unites us is a passion for the oral tradition of storytelling.

The Guild does not recommend or schedule performances for tellers. If you are interested in our tellers, we encourage you to contact them individually. Fees or service donations are negotiated with each teller.
